Welcome to my new website!

I made the decision to make my (fourth?… at least) website because my art is entering a new phase in my artistic practice, and therefore my new work needs a new home.

I am principally known for my work that is oriented toward history and historical events, specifically LA BATTAGLIA DI ANGHIARI. Such works are important to me, especially since I am an art historian as well as an artist. But there is another theme in my practice that is often overlooked by critics and collectors: the ocean. This website allows both of these two major strands in my work—history and the ocean—to have lives of their own.

I will be keeping my old websites (vittoriachierici.com; WORDPRESS;) as archives of my older work.
